The Zero Clearance Shower
A zero clearance shower, also known as a curb-less or no-threshold shower, is a type of walk-in shower where the bathroom floor and the shower floor are flush, with no raised edge or curb to step over. In this case, the shower also has no door to fuss with. Instead, the shower’s dimensions keep the splashing contained.
The floor and bench are heated for comfort in the cold New Hampshire winters.
The walls are covered with large format porcelain slabs from Laminam. Porcelain is durable, easy to clean and resists etching and staining like natural stone. The large slabs eliminate many grout joints for easy cleaning and a sleek appearance.
A beautiful Axor rainfall shower head is combined with both a handheld and a stationary conventional shower head from Kohler.
Goedecke tile showers are guaranteed not to leak. All of the waterproofing, floor sloping and drain system are Schluter products for a beautiful, functional and durable tile shower.
Epoxy grout fills the joints in the tile floor and it will not crack or stain. We use SPECTRALOCK®
The beautiful glass wall to this shower was fabricated by our friends at Traynor Glass.
The Walnut Vanity Cabinet
The double walnut vanity from Decora features soft-close doors and drawers. Decora cabinets are made in America and Goedecke is the only Decora Elite Dealer within 25 miles. Walnut is a beautiful native hardwood that complements the white porcelain nicely. There is a motion sensing light under the toe kick of the cabinets to gently light the way on those middle-of-the-night trips to the bathroom. The vanity top is crafted by Keystone Carvings from the same Laminam porcelain slabs that adorn the walls of the shower. Porcelain is just as beautiful and practical as a vanity top as it is in the shower. Another stylish feature is the in-wall lavatory valve and faucets from Kohler. The final feature of the vanity is the luxurious leather covered door and drawer pulls from Atlas Homewares.
New 2nd Floor Laundry
How often do we find ourselves hauling dirty laundry down two flights of stairs, only to lug the clean laundry back up again? By installing compact LG laundry facilities in the bathroom, homeowners can enjoy a significant boost in convenience.
Radiant Heat Floors
One of the most significant features in creating luxurious comfort is radiant heat. In this bathroom, the floor is warmed both inside and outside of the shower. Even the bench seat in the shower is warmed. On the coldest mornings, this warmth is there waiting to envelop the lucky occupant. Goedecke used the DITRA-HEAT system, including the Smart Thermostat which has too many amazing features to list here. The floor is then tiled with porcelain tile from Anatolia.

There is nothing worse than the paint in a new bathroom peeling or molding from the extra moisture these rooms contain.
